Originally from Poland, now residing in the UK, Bassica (real name Sylwia) is a DJ and a label owner.

With a passion for Breakbeat, Bassica can be heard spinning her energetic and bass heavy style on her monthly Cutters Choice Radio show, Breakbeat Nation, and her biweekly radio shows Diesel Power and Break Tech.

Bassica has hosted Diablo Loco and Deep Garnet radio shows for 6 years and more recently a show for her own Breakbeat label, Diesel Recordings. The label has already had a great number of successes releasing tracks from many of the scene’s top artists and regularly appearing in the Beatport Breaks Top 100 Tracks and Releases as well as being featured in film and commercials.

After over a decade of DJing, Bassica is showing no signs of slowing down and will continue to deliver the hottest new tracks in Breaks as well as some live events in the near future.
