I started out in the late nineties DJing indie dance, bigbeat and trip hop at dive bars in Southampton. During the early noughties I was playing regularly across the South Coast, organising the Out Of The Void dance music community and promoting nu skool breaks at my monthly Influenza nights.
After moving to Bristol in the mid-noughties I founded Pigpen Radio, a social enterprise radio station all about positive and conscious music, and organised Pigpen Social alldayer reggae, hip hop and funk events. For 5 years I was Director and Sustainability Manager of Redfest Bristol, an arts and music festival for the community of East Bristol.
Now living in Cornwall, I’ve mellowed out somewhat but still DJ regularly on the radio and occasionally at events. Over the years I’ve presented shows on a variety of stations including NSB Radio, Breaks FM and Brap FM. Nowadays you can hear me playing a selection of dubwise breaks, jungle, reggae, dub and trip hop regularly on Cutters Choice every 2nd Monday and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 6pm til 8pm. I also appear on other stations from time to time.
